Description:
The Office of Data and Analytics (ODA) Business Operations Analyst is primarily responsible for the development and execution of business operations best practices in the department.
The incumbent contributes to the development of organizational strategies that increase team efficiency and productivity, assists with quality assurance for ODA data products, collaborates with the Office of Performance Excellence regarding ODA’s contribution to agency strategic planning and KPI tracking, and advises on relationship management between ODA and other divisions. The incumbent may also provide support to other ODA projects as needed.

Job Duties
Lead end-to-end data mapping across assigned data sources and reporting layers.
Document business definitions, transformation logic, and data lineage, and coordinate with data owners and stewards to resolve conflicts in definitions.
Identify workflow issues and propose appropriate solutions.
Implement data quality rules, track exceptions, and monitor remediation activities to support the quality of ODA data products.
Maintain metadata and glossary entries in the data catalog.
Develop standard operating procedures for change control and the data-mapping lifecycle and produce status reports and governance scorecards.
Assist with the creation of training materials and provide training to individuals on those materials.
Track and audit purchase order expenditures to identify variances and support operational planning.
Review and audit financial data as needed to ensure accuracy, inform workflow recommendations, and maintain alignment with budgetary constraints.
Track and audit financial information as needed.
