Duration: 12 months
***The candidate will work remotely until all staff return to site. At that time the candidate will be expected to work full time onsite.
***The candidate will need to use his or her own computer until he or she starts working onsite. When the candidate is working full time on site he or she will be given NCDOT equipment.

Skills :
Experience with SAP BO including Lumira Server and Designer, multi-node BO landscapes and auditable change management. Required 10 Years
Experience with SAP BO including developer support, architectural guidance and system upgrades. Required 10 Years
Experience setting up the monitoring of BO servers. Required 10 Years
Experience setting up the auditing policies, and manage event and alerts related to CMS, Audit and Reporting Database services. Required 10 Years
Experience keeping availability of BO Web applications CMC, BI Launchpad, and other applications. Required 10 Years
Experience managing day to day scheduled report jobs from Instance Manager. Required 10 Years
Experience handling the support issues from developers. Required 10 Years
Experience monitoring the resources of BusinessObjects servers. Required 10 Years
Experience managing user and permissions. Required 5 Years
Experience managing Universe and Connections and other BI Repository objects. Required 10 Years
Experience connecting Business Objects to external data sources including REST, SOAP, SQLSvr, Oracle, DB2, and Sybase. Required 10 Years
In depth knowledge on debugging and trouble shooting skills on native HANA. Required 3 Years
Familiarity with SDLC/ Agile /scrum methodology. Desired 3 Years
Experience in leading small teams. Desired 5 Years

NCDOT is seeking a Sr. SAP Business Object Administrator to be a key resource for BW Reporting and Enterprise Dashboards in the SAP environment.

NCDOT’s environment services over 6,000 users and includes instances of ECC 6.0, BI 7.0, Business Objects, CRM, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, NWCE and PI. This position plays a key role in establishing, executing and supporting our corporate strategy for SAP development. Maintaining a sound production environment for development initiatives while at the same time participating in multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity is key.
This role requires close collaboration and coordination with the Business departments, SAP Development, SAP Basis, SAP Functional, SAP Training and Support teams, Network Engineers and Enterprise Architects.
