Workday Talent Consultant with Core, performance configuration and agile experience

Location:- Farmington Connecticut
Duration: 12 months

Job Description:
Workday Talent/Performance configurator role will provide planning and execution guidance and knowledge to simplify the WD Talent modules implementations across UTC BUs and Functions. This role will also be responsible for establishing WD adoption and governance for new capabilities enablement in support of various stakeholder and BU groups.

Core Competencies/Experiences:
· Plan, execute and monitor Workday Talent Suite projects across UTC with an eye on supportability and successful operational transition into production
· Conduct working sessions with HR/COE Functions to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements
· Provide subject matter expertise on key Talent business process decisions
· Demonstrate configurations through the use of prototyping for the emerging WD modules and capabilities
· Advise HR team on industry standards for WD Talent process areas in order to provide suggestions to achieve streamlined processes
· Understand Workdays Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements
· Lead coordination for the training and other events that help share knowledge and skills with other team members
· Work in an agile environment with global implementation and operations teams

Experience/Qualifications:
· Successfully having completed at least 2 WD modules implementation
· WD certifications in Talent or Core areas
· Thrive in a diverse, fast paced, global environment
· Basic knowledge of AGILE methodology and practices
· Think analytically and can effectively apply logic to solve problems
· Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands
· Some travel required, approximately 25%.
· Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and team with others
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can clearly articulate complex messages and requirements to stakeholders, functional COE teams and WD CSM/Account Executives

Education:
4 year College Degree and/or 15+ years of experience meeting above competencies, 3+ year deploying Workday, 3+ years in a lead role, management role or in a role coaching others
