WebSpher/Linux Admin with F5/Load Balancing, networking, security, upgrade, Cloud and training/wiki documentation experience

Location: 140 E 300 S, Salt Lake City (UT) Client: DWS
Duration: 24 – 60 months
Positions are for onsite, full-time duties, although temporarily contractors will be permitted to work from home over their personal internet connections (Covid social distancing regulations) using a Utah state laptop and using VPN software. DO NOT SUBMIT RESOURCE THAT CAN NOT WORK ONSITE LATER, 40 HOURS PER WEEK.

Minimum of 5 yrs working with System Operations in a Linux and Enterprise Java environment with DB2 or Oracle

Job duties:
• Install and configure software and hardware
• Manage network servers and technology tools
• Set up accounts and workstations
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Troubleshoot issues and outages
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

Scoring Criteria:
30% = Cost
30% = Duration and Quality of experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role with preference given for Linux, WebSphere, F5 Load Balancer, Cloud Technologies, and Enterprise Java
20% = Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
20% = Experience with an eligibility and enrollment system, or financial package such as collections System
