Security Analyst/Cybersecurity Engineer (CISSP must) with cryptography, VLANs, routing/switching, firewalls, locality security, JIRA, Confluence, Atlassian, NIST and agile experience

Exp with writing and updating standards as directed, identifying and communicating gaps and changes as needed. Required 5 Years
Conduct comprehensive security control assessments according to NIST frameworks to (examine, interview, test) systems and assets. Required 5 Years

The Cybersecurity Engineer will execute complex projects delivering solutions and services based upon organizational need. This person’s time will largely be spent supporting projects in Voting Systems and Locality Security.
-This role will offer support for the delivery of programs such as but not limited to the delivery of locality security and Voting System security.
-The role will be responsible for contributing to communication, timeline, resource needs and tasks that are in alignment with the program roadmap and strategy.
The Cybersecurity Engineer is expected to interact with program managers, analysts and locality representatives to align on priorities and provide timely reporting and escalation of risks and issues.
Candidates MUST be a Cybersecurity Engineer who have also Lead InfoSec projects (5 years min)
– Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Atlassian are highly desired.
-Experience with NIST sec standards is highly desired.
-Experience with MS Office applications is highly desired.
– Experience with various software development methodologies including the agile development methodologies is highly desired
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems (required) – Security, preferred
CISSP cert – REQUIRED
