Remote PHP Developer with Laravel, Zene, Symfony, JavaScript, REST API, SQL, MVC, GIT, CI/CD, AWS, Linux and Docker Experience

Location: Salt Lake City, UT Department
Duration: 3+ months
Remote work and non-local candidates are accepted
100% Remote work – Resources will be required to use their own device and development tools.

Responsibilities :
● Build a Laravel module to integrate as an App for the Akaunting Project.
● Write clean, testable, secure, and dynamic code based on standard web stack
development best practices
● Integrate back-end data services and implement new or extend existing APIs to utilize
back-end data from varying sources
● Document and continuously update the development process, project components, and
task progress based on business requirements
● Design new or work within existing database schemas
● Optimize performance by performing UI and back-end tests
● Perform debugging and troubleshooting on apps
● Collaborate with project managers, co-developers, software testers, and internal end
users to complete project requirements
● Effectively communicate with internal clients and other teams when needed
Qualifications
● Proven experience as a Laravel PHP Framework Developer
● Core knowledge of PHP frameworks (Laravel, Zene, Symfony, etc.)
● Fundamental understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and
JavaScript
● Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming
● Experience building SQL Schema design, REST API design, and SOLID principles
● Familiarity with MVC and fundamental design principles
● Proficiency using version control (Git) in conjunction with CI/CD pipelines
Hosting Tools
● AWS Developer Tools: CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, etc
● AWS Compute Tools: EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Elastic (Static) IP’s, Load Balancers, etc.
● Linux, Docker, etc.
● MySQL
Development Tools
● BYOD (bring your own device and development tools).
