The IT Program Master Schedule Manager will be responsible for managing a large, complex program integrated master schedule and work closely with over 15 project and program managers to: identify project inter-dependencies and link projects, perform quality checks on project schedules, develop reports and a dashboard that displays requested project and program portfolio information in Gantt Chart or another view.
This role will work with the business leaders as well, and process improvement teams to continually enhance the program’s portfolio and schedule management processes and capabilities. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working in Microsoft Project Server, Tableau, ITBM, and ITSM to manage and monitor a large, complex portfolio. Experience working in a multi-vendor mixed-matrix resource environment is critical as well. Experience (multiple years) in both traditional ‘waterfall’ and agile implementation environments will also be traits of the ideal candidate, and better yet, experience being part of a transformation from a traditional ‘waterfall’ environment to an agile environment.
This role is expected to play a large role in automating portfolio and schedule management processes. Technical experience automating manual processes will also be a tremendous asset for the ideal candidate.
This role is also focused on managing and monitoring integration efforts and compliance, drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and authoring aspects of a program management plan. Therefore, this program seeks a polished communicator, with a positive and collaborative spirit, who has excellent grammar and writing skills.
