8 Required Experience with overseeing Data Center services providers for compute and storage supporting 24/7 environments. Experience overseeing infrastructure and operations resources.
8 Required Experience establishing goals and objectives for maintaining the infrastructure, security, and Operation.
8 Required Experience with technical implementation, scheduling, assessing problems, and communicating up to management. Overseas infrastructure changes.
8 Required High level of technical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of data center operations to support critical functions.
8 Required Lead, plans, and assigns work for Server Support, Physical Database, and application teams that support Operation systems and databases.
8 Required Assist IT manager with oversight of two Data Center Services providers which are responsible for supporting computing, security, and storage components.
8 Required Works closing with the Data Center Services providers and Systems Architects to develop the Technology Roadmap Plan and set a strategic path for infrastructure and operations
8 Required Oversees environment expansion, migrations, modernizations for Storage/Compute/Network/Application systems. Responsible for maintaining detailed industry knowledge, especially around Cloud, and integrating those to internal technical domain knowledge.
8 Required Oversees multiple audits annually. Leads major projects for Operations which include migrations of Data Center hardware and software upgrades. Review legislative and business requirements for impact to TIERS. As a member of the TIERS Change Cont
8 Required Reviews and approved Operations documentation which includes the Security Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan, Operational Procedures and Monthly Maintenance plan.
8 Required Provides technical expertise, as a member of the Operations management team, on changes with the ecosystem, including the design and development of new technology, security events, and root cause analysis of all severity events.
8 Required Experience with 24/7 on call support.
5 Preferred Experience with DevOps and DevOp tools.
4 Preferred Experience in delivering technical training in cloud‐ based technology is a plus.
4 Preferred Experience ITIL – ticketing using Remedy and ServiceNow.
3 Preferred Experience managing Archer GRC.
Job Description:

Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within the existing system.
Infrastructure and Operations Lead. Performs highly advanced (senior-level) managerial work administering daily operations and activities of HHSC TIERS Operations and reports to the Director of TIERS Operations. Work involves establishing goals and objectives for maintaining infrastructure, security and Operations. Supervises multiple teams and service providers to ensure optimal performance.
