Virginia Department of Elections (ELECT) is seeking a Data Architect. You will be an important part of helping ELECT transition to a new voter registration system by developing and implementing an overall organizational data strategy that is in line with business processes and state policies. Once a Data Strategy has been defined, you will spearhead the creation of a quality data collection and dictionary that ensures adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data throughout the entire ELECT organization. If you have a background of working in policy enforcement; development life cycles; and using specialized government software, we would love to work with you.
• Takes into account all data sources concerning business operations and outlines a design to integrate, centralize, and maintain the data.
• Define and manage the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organization.
• Defining policies, procedures, models, and documentation relating to ELECT data management.
