This role, for the Colorado Office of Information Technology (OIT), will work collaboratively with the OIT Solution Architect, and other OIT resources, to ensure the timely migration of complex data from legacy systems to the Colorado Department of Labor’s MyUI+ system for Employer Services Modernization.

The Developer candidate must have the following experience:
At least 8 years of experience designing and developing Java applications
At least 5 years of experience with data migration
At least 5 years of experience with interpreting database tables and data to mitigate conversion defects
Detailed understanding of mapping data items between databases
Experience creating and updating extract, transform, and load logic
Experience developing web services specifically REST
Ability to design interfaces using JSON and XML

Experience with RDBMS Oracle 12c and 19c
Experience with SQL Server Management studio, PLSQL Developer, SQL Plus, SQL Navigator, and TOAD
Strong ability to research and manage complex data
Superior ability to identify the underlying cause of performance issues
Sound oral and written communication skills
High evaluative and interpretative skills
· Experience using Spring, Spring boot
· Ability to develop functional workflows to improve efficiency
· Experience with unemployment data preferred
