The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of 1 QA Associate/Analyst hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of legacy and core and the specifications outlined in this document for Texas Department of Public Safety.
Perform advanced (senior-level) systems analyst work within the IT Mainframe Modernization Team as a software tester and quality assurance analyst. Assist the IT Mainframe Modernization Team in translating requirements into test cases to provide traceability and analyzing the results of system and integrated testing to ensure business and functional requirements are met. Assist IT Mainframe Modernization Team in unit and integration testing the Mainframe Migration work. Work is performed under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment within the parameters of established policies and procedures.
