Skills and Qualifications:
Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills needed to create instructions, respond to inquiries, and relay instructions to others.
Must have clean criminal record with the ability to pass finger-print background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Proficiency with Microsoft O365
Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and SharePoint is desired
Candidate must display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Purpose:
The Atlanta Public School System is seeking the services of a Documentation Specialist to support the APS IT Security & Network Services team.
Summary:
As part of the Security & Network Services team, the Documentation Specialist will review vendor contracts to ensure the proper security documentation has been provided for audit and compliance purposes. Work collaboratively with the IT PMO and Purchasing Departments to document 3rd party processes and procedures.
Scope of Work/Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and monitor contract files to ensure compliance with district security policies.
Work collaboratively with APS project managers, develop, monitor, and update information assurance related documents, project plans, and other related documentations.
Prepare and provide progress reports, trending charts, and other requested reports on a periodic basis.
Document security SOPs to manage risk, with a mindset of continuous process improvement.
Work cross-functionally within APS and with outside vendors to coordinate updates to technology contracts to meet current and long-term business needs.
Other duties as assigned.
