NC FAST requires an Infrastructure Modernization Project Manager to provide project management for migrating to Cloud.
The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks a contractor resource for the NC FAST (Families Accessing Services through Technology) to serve as Infrastructure Modernization Project Manager to provide project management for migrating to Cloud. This position desire prior experience in Migrating from On-prem to Cloud using cloud infrastructure on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions. The Infrastructure Modernization Project Manager will orchestrate, coordinate, and deliver IT projects for DHHS NC FAST and be a point of contact during the project for all aspects of the engagement. This resource must have the ability to prepare analysis and associated documentation for production support of cloud and internal infrastructure enterprises, and must be able to work independently on multiple tasks in a highly dynamic environment with strong customer service skills, teaming skills and the ability to collaborate within a cross functional organization. Role is responsible for regular status reports. This position will work in a fast-paced enterprise-level environment requiring exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills in English.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: authoring all project management artifacts following the practices and guidelines from the PMI’s PMBOK or Scaled Agile, helping develop project budget/resource/ timeline planning, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring that project plans and schedules are established and maintained. Responsibilities also include conducting formal presentations, coordinating with all project stakeholders, ensuring that appropriate project controls are instituted, and helping develop status documents and Federally required documents as requested.
