Job Description:
Typical Experience: 84+ months The NCDHHS Infrastructure Security SME is a senior level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in a the security architectural design and implementation of new IT Infrastructure in a new DHHS campus.
Able to work without assistance; can provide leadership to others; able to manage highly complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have extensive industry experience.
Description (including, but not limited to):
1. Technical expertise centered around IT Security, implementation, and architecture for an enterprise environment.
2. Specialization in technical security environment for new building construction.
3. Must have Server Security expertise.
4. Successful development and maintenance of formal strategies, sourcing guidance, technical standards, blueprints, reference architectures, architecture patterns and technology roadmaps for technical security domain
5. Successful completion of technology projects within area of security implementations.
6. Definition and management of team structure and resource levels to support business needs for the overall environment
7. Conducting industry and market research of technologies and general themes in assigned architecture areas.
8. Engaging agency subject matter experts, business liaisons, and DIT representatives as to ensure proper alignment between business and IT within Security discipline.
9. Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team to accomplish design and implementation objectives for new infrastructure environments.
