Senior Project Manager for the Health Benefit Exchange (HBE) platform implementation project.
Position Description:
SCC seeks a Senior Project Manager for the Health Benefit Exchange (HBE) platform implementation project. This project will work with the SCC HBE and multiple vendors and other agencies to transition Virginia from the healthcare.gov platform to the chosen vendor platform. The project manager will work along with other IT and IT Security professionals to coordinate and manage all activities associated with onboarding to the new platform. This will necessitate close coordination with IT, HBE leadership, consulting vendors, SCC procurement and the platform vendor.
The PM needs experience working in a structured PMO that has established policy, processes, and procedures. There are many other factors governing the work, such as Procurement rules, federal guidance, etc. A strong background in structured work is required. An ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders – both technical and non-technical – is a must. This is NOT a technical position – candidates should have project management techniques as their main skillset.
