Hybrid/Local Azure DevOps Engineer (15+) with Git, CI/CD, Snowflake AI/Cortex, Access control/Security/RBAC, tuning, Warehouse management, AKS, ETL, AI/ML, IaC and public sector experience
Location: Austin, TX (HHSC)
Duration: 12 Months
Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mondays and Wednesdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position.

Skills:
8 Required Strong experience in DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines)
8 Required Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform
8 Required Expertise in Snowflake administration including: Access control and security (RBAC, least privilege) ; Performance tuning and warehouse management
8 Required Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data engineering tasks
8 Required Experience with containerization and orchestration (AKS preferred)
8 Required Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud data integration

3 Preferred Experience with Infrastructure as Code

Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AI integration, Azure cloud platform, and Snowflake administration, responsible for building scalable and secure data and AI pipelines.
Strong experience in CI/CD, automation using Python, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Provides end-to-end DevOps support, including security, governance (RBAC), and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable cloud and data solutions.
