Staff augmentation contractor will provide support all testing efforts for the Upgrade Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) project, an approved Exceptional Item. The project will modify multiple LIMs applications by reinstalling network cabling and switches to accommodate necessary DSHS building modifications, replacing and upgrading nearly 30 legacy virtual servers, creating a secure disaster recovery environment, and upgrading the LabWorks and LabWare software applications.
Duties:
The Software Test Analyst develops, publishes, and implements test plans. Writes and maintains test automation. Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies. Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Also writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
Work from a Master Test Plan (MTP) document to develop detailed test plans and test cases.
Use HP-ALM to document Software Releases, Test Plans and Test Steps
Use HP-ALM to record the results of running test cases
Prepare reports documenting test case coverage and results of testing.
Work with other team members to understand proper functioning of the applications to be tested.
Able to work both in team and independently with minimal guidance.
Finds ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes.
