**This is a hybrid position, but the candidate will be required onsite 2-3 days per week.

Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Required 5 Years
3+ years of experience in data governance, compliance, and security within a Microsoft 365 environment. Required 3 Years
Proficiency in Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365, and related technologies. Required 5 Years
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals are a plus. Required 5 Years
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively manage data compliance and security issues. Required 5 Years
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various teams. Required 5 Years
Experience with other data governance tools and solutions. Highly desired 5 Years
Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as NIST and HIPPA, etc. Highly desired 5 Years

Position Overview
The M365 Purview Engineer is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and management of Microsoft Purview solutions. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring data governance, compliance, and security across the organization’s Microsoft 365 environment.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and Configure Microsoft Purview: Deploy and configure Microsoft Purview solutions to ensure comprehensive data governance and compliance.
Manage Data Policies: Develop and enforce data policies to ensure data privacy, protection, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitor and Report: Continuously monitor data usage and compliance, generating regular reports to identify areas of improvement.
Support Security Measures: Collaborate with the security team to integrate Purview solutions with existing security measures, enhancing data protection.
User Training and Support: Provide training and support to users on best practices for data management and compliance using Microsoft Purview.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in Microsoft Purview and data governance technologies.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in data governance, compliance, and security within a Microsoft 365 environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365, and related technologies.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively manage data compliance and security issues.
