Skills:
Extensive design and development experience with ServiceNOW IT Service Management, IT Operations Management and/or Event Management. Required 7 Years
Significant experience using shell, Perl, python, or java scripting. Required 7 Years
Understanding of how to optimize the ServiceNow data model and structures and how to propose and enforce coding standards Required 7 Years
Experience soliciting a complex set of customer requirements and creatively translating those into solutions leveraging existing tools and integration Required 7 Years
Experience defining a product vision and then a detailed roadmap. Required 7 Years
Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills and attention to details. Ability to multitask while managing several initiatives. Nice to have 7 Years
Ability to work on teams with participants from various technical disciplines and a good understanding of IT infrastructure operations. Nice to have 7 Years

Description:
The ServiceNOW Developer Architect will be responsible for leading efforts to deliver ServiceNOW automation solutions for DIT Operations and influencing the implementation, processes and on-going support of the DIT CMDB and Asset Database. The position will also spur and coordinate/implement integrations between the CMDB, Asset Database, ITSM, ITOM, billing systems, ordering systems, etc. In addition, the role will drive ideas and projects to leverage various data sources to provide needed dashboards and visualizations valuable to both internal and external customers.

–Design and develop large custom applications and automations in ServiceNow
–At a macro level this position will be responsible for creating the vision and defining the roadmap (generally and specifically) for custom workflow automations and system/data integrations across DIT.
–Manage the whole lifecycle of custom automation “apps” and integrations with the responsibility to provide leadership for projects to gather and synthesize requirements, evaluate various options and then design, develop, test, and implement integrated solutions.
–Lead and promote effective governance of the data models, data integrity, coding, processes, applications and overall tools supporting the digitization and automation efforts.
–Market the value and overall benefit of digitization and automation apps by showcasing existing apps and discovering/defining future possibilities thereby fostering a culture of innovation in this area.
