In fact, this new PM will be taking over a couple of RFP project in the Medicaid Area.
Additional requirements:
We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as an RFI/RFP Project. As
an integral part of our organization, the candidate will play a crucial role in managing the RFI
(Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal) processes.
RFI/RFP Process Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze information to be included
in RFIs and RFPs.
Assist in the development and refinement of RFI/RFP templates and guidelines to
streamline the submission process.
Coordinate and track all RFI/RFP submissions, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and
submitted within the designated timelines.
Maintain a comprehensive and organized record of all RFI/RFP activities, including
candidate interactions, submissions, and evaluation results.
Description:
This position provides oversight, leadership, accountability, and project management functions
for multiple small or medium sized projects at the same time or for a single large project. These
projects are numerous and require dedicated project managers who communicate at the Team or
Project Sponsor level. Small sized projects typically have durations less than 6 months with 10
or less team members, impact smaller business units within an Agency and have a low risk.
Medium sized projects typically have durations less than 6 months with 10 or more team
members, impact large business units within an Agency and have a medium or low risk. Large
sized projects typically have durations longer than 6 months with 20 or more team members,
require communication at the Agency Leadership level and have a medium to high risk. This
position will ensure consistency with the State of Michigan project management methodology
(SUITE), perform long-term release planning based on organizational direction, regularly
interact with the project management teams for status of budget, quality, and schedule, escalate
issues and risks as needed to executives and exercise project quality control activities to ensure
project scope expectations are met.
