The Administrative Office of the Courts is looking for a WebSphere Application Server Migration Specialist to assist our Development Team and System Administrators in migrating from WebSphere Application Server 8.x to version 9.x on Redhat Linux and Microsoft Servers. This person must be someone that can help lead our internal team in their migration processes. The individual will also help provide team training on WebSphere Application Server version 9 Administration with Network Deployment.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Help develop a migration strategy and plan
Migrate all instances to Websphere 9
Help define maintenance strategy for future releases
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Minimum 5 years WebSphere Application Server Administration Experience
Experience with installing Websphere 9 Clusters and configuring SLA’s
Experience with WebSphere 9 Network Deployments
Experience with Deployment Manager
Experience with wsadmin scripting
Experience with Deploying WebSphere Servers running on Linux RedHat
Experience with Deploying WebSphere Servers running on Windows Server 2012 R2
Familiarity with using IBM Rational Development Studio and SVN is a plus
Experience with Restful APIs is a plus
