Ability to post new items and other related announcements to SharePoint and External Website Required 5 Years
Ability to create and administer MS Forms and other O365 applications as required. Required 5 Years
Ensure all website content is Section 508 /ADA compliant. Required 5 Years
Ability to redesign and/or develop solutions to ensure compliance if an accessibility problem is detected/update to meet agency branding guidelines Required 5 Years
PLS READ: This role may start as remote but Richmond offices are expected to re-open in January and some ON SITE (2-3 days/week) will be required. NO exceptions. If selected, does your candidate must agree to this arrangement.
Parking is NOT provided for contractors.
Duration of assignment: 6 months +. DO NOT go by end date in Vector as new POs will be provided to support work/engagement from January 1 forward.
A Webmaster (contractor resource) is required for the DMAS IM Development team to provide support for the high volume of requests for external websites and SharePoint updates.
Responsibilities:
Administer SharePoint site collections, permissions and other Office 365 applications
Create, revise and update current internal SharePoint sites, hubs and pages / external DMAS website pages as required
Create visually attractive layouts, templates and easy-to-navigate sites and web pages
Coordinate with the communications team and other divisions to update and create online content.
Review existing content, repair broken links, and correct any errors (including spelling) as needed.
Post new items and other related announcements to SharePoint and External Website
Ensure all website content is Section 508 compliant.
Redesign and/or develop solutions to ensure compliance if an accessibility problem is detected
Ensure all website content is consistent with branding guidelines
Create and administer MS Forms and other O365 applications as required.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree is required
Experience in Section 508 / ADA compliance
Experience with a range of content management systems
Excellent verbal communication, organizational and writing skills
Ability to adapt to diverse requests and quickly changing requirements
Attention to detail, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player
