The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical writing and documentation support for the NC FAST Program. Primary focus of this role will be procurement and contract administration activities which may include Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quote (RFQ), Requests for Proposal (RFP), Contract Amendments, Notices of Extension, and others as needed. This role will support all aspects of procurement efforts, including: lead internal meetings to gather key requirements and timelines, assist in developing/analyzing requirements to ensure accurate documentation, and serve as the point of contact to solicit, receive, and integrate content from team members , as well as to write original, highly technical content for the procurement documents. Tasks will include organizing and maintaining inventory of various project documents, communicating with internal and external subject matter experts, timely communication to procurement team management on any potential issues, and communicating and consulting with NC FAST staff, DHHS leadership, and other business and IT stakeholders as needed. This position must demonstrate outstanding written communication skills. This position must ensure procurement standards and procedures are applied to all documents, ensure proper methodology is used, and adhere to contracting policies and procedures to assure creation of high-quality products. This position will also support Project Managers with tasks such as project tracking, deliverables management, status reports, project schedules, transition activities, and other project administrative tasks. Experience with updating project plans, project schedules, and updates in MS Project is highly desired.
