Duration: 12 months
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
The Contractor must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
5.1. Five years of experience writing media materials
5.2. Five years of experience utilizing Dreamweaver or effective web application.
5.3. Five years of experience utilizing Adobe’s Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign to enhance both print and
electronic publications.
5.4. Five years of experience using computer-based Microsoft Office.
5.5. Five years of experience processing and filing electronic information.
5.6. Five years of experience designing and maintaining websites.
5.7. Five years of experience utilizing accessibility standards for websites and PDF documents.
5.8. Five years of experience with the following software programs, packages, or standards: HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, JQuery, Acrobat and SharePoint.
CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
SERVICE TASKS:Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:
Perform analysis of the Department’s Immunization section’s public and internal facing internet
presence to ensure each presence is operating in a manner meeting the written and planned
expectations noted within the written logs between the contractor and the Department’s
Executive Community Health Nursing Director. This is performed by monitoring performance
logs, sites, and actively reviewing the system and shall be reported to the Executive Community
Health Nursing Director within five minutes of discovery. Method of reporting is written logs with
email and verbal communication.
6.1.2. Provide Development of Print Graphics – In consultation with Department’s Immunization
Section management and marketing consultants create and develop promotion material
following brand identification design templates.
6.1.3. Research, acquire transform, create and securely store geospatial information that is pertinent
to modeling factors that are significant to the occurrence and spread of disease within human
populations. This shall be performed per direction of the Department’s Geographic Information
Systems (GIS) Manager and Epidemiological Section guidance following Department standards
for storage of GIS data.
6.1.4. Communicate the status of ongoing projects, via written documentation, to the Executive
Community Health Nursing Director, daily.
6.1.5. Develop database resources, as gathered during Joint Application Requirements and/or Joint
Application Development sessions, for the creation of a seamless single sign-on interface
between Merlin and PRISM as assigned by the Department.
6.1.6. Standardize collection and storage of the Department’s Division of Disease Control and Health
Protection (DCHP) shared data; profile, laboratory and provide tables as assigned by the
Department.
6.1.7. Develop tools to automate and display identification of co-morbidities across a minimum of one
surveillance system module as assigned by the Department.
6.1.8. In collaboration with the Departments’ DCHP information technology teams; document, design
and develop plans to accomplish the Master Person Index project as assigned by the Department.
6.1.9. Develop process for electronically receiving initial case reports from providers to support
Meaningful Use Stage 3 as assigned by the Department.
6.1.10. Collaborate with the Department’s DCHP information technology teams; document design and
develop plans using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project or other software, to
accomplish the Master Person Index project as assigned by the Department, Health Information
Exchange (HIE).
