Responsibilities
Direct involvement and/or oversight of developing business requirements, application design, configuration, testing and deployment.
Performs feasibility analysis and technology tradeoffs within the constraints of the project.
Serves as a subject matter expert.
Confident and willing to challenge a customer and guide them towards an appropriate solution that meets their needs while maintaining the scalability, maintainability of the instance.
Ability to guide the Product Owner and the Development team towards creative uses of standard features to meet business requirements instead of simply relying on custom code solutions.
Participates actively in discussions, builds a reputation as a go-to resource for toughest problems. Provides constructive feedback to product teams.
Understands platform limitations and design alternatives to work around limitations.
Train other development resources on Salesforce development practices as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of progressive software development experience.
5+ years of experience in an object-oriented development language like.NET/ Java is preferred
One or more Salesforce Certifications would be preferable.
Familiarity with Salesforce.com best practices, support mechanisms, procedures and limitations is required.
Minimum of 3+ years of technical expertise on Salesforce.com, using Force.com Apex, VisualForce, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, Ant and the use of these tools with Salesforce.com
Experience with at least full life cycle implementations enterprise implementations
SOQL and intermediate knowledge of Oracle database would be helpful.
Development experience with Restful web services and SOA strongly desired
Strong knowledge of Agile Software development methodologies, design and architectural patterns.
Creative problem solving skills and a strong work ethic
Ability to work with minimal direct guidance, self-motivated and proactive
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Some knowledge in the Commercial Real Estate industry
