Job Description:
The Salesforce Architect/Senior Developer position will lead a team of Salesforce developers and provide them the direction/guidance on application architecture, design approaches, security and best practices. This position will be supporting all aspects of the Salesforce instance in a mission-critical and highly integrated environment. The Architect will be responsible to provide guidance to the developers and the customer on the upcoming Salesforce classic to lightning migration, Platform encryption changes and other critical updates. This position will also help the development and configuration management team follow Salesforce and industry standard best practices for the software development lifecycle, Configuration Management, and backup & recovery. The ideal candidate will be working closely with a team of developers to implement changes as they are identified and prioritized.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
•Work across Application Development, Service Delivery and Infrastructure to identify, research, discuss, design, and implement key architecture standards.
•Propose new standards based on business need, IT need and technology advances and assist development teams to implement the standards into business applications.
•Influence development teams to design high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code as well as managing estimates, timelines and producing technical documentation.
•Translate business requirements to technical solutions on the Force.com platform using Visualforce, Apex and other available tools
• Ensure unit test and code coverage for deployments are done using change sets and/or ALM tools.
• Help support custom packages like Conga & Basic Gov, other extensions, and integrations for business application.
• Provides operational support for ongoing user issues and requests.
• Participates in functional testing of releases, user testing, roll-out, and production support of system.
• Provide day-to-day end-user second level support and training for Salesforce Users.
• Manage user profiles, roles, permission sets, assignment rules, and license types.
