Job Description
Application development on Windows based computers. Utilizes different development tools and technologies to develop modern Windows applications for HP personal systems. Applies core development knowledge to help build and deploy modern software. Investigates solutions to streamline development process and provide new value to HP customers. Provides input to other internal and external customers and gathers requirements for future software product development. Provide guidance and mentoring to other employees.
Responsibilities
Work with multiple project teams of software application engineers. Project teams include internal and outsourced development partners. Work on complex problems, provide proposals and technical prototypes as potential solutions. Work on creating software development efficiencies within the overall personal software organization. Creates, reviews, and evaluates different aspects of software development lifecycle including architecture, design, coding, testing, integration, standards, processes, etc. Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into software projects and the software organization.
