Remote Clinical Application Analyst with Cerner Millennium EHR(must), Customer service , Software implementation, AMS, HIPAA, HL7, health care and DBHDS experience
Location: Richmond, VA (DBHDS) (Locals only)
Duration: 8 months

Will work remotely – Max hours per week: 36 hr /week for each contractor.

MUST have exp with Cerner Millennium EHR to be considered. Please do not submit if your candidate doesn’t have this exp.
Analysts will be working with the Cerner Millennium EHR (Electronic Health Records System) application in support of the following disciplines; Physician, Nursing, Charge Services, Behavioral Health, and Scheduling to troubleshoot and configure solutions for desired clinical workflows. The EHR is used in hospital and doctors offices to manage patient records. Analysts that have worked in clinical settings would be familiar with Cerner and the database used.
DBHDS is looking for a total 4 contractors (that will work remotely) to fill in gaps related to the following disciplines: Physician, Nursing Charge Services, Behavioral Health, and Scheduling
Extensive knowledge of the Cerner Millennium EHR application is REQUIRED in support of the following disciplines: Physician, Nursing Charge Services, Behavioral Health, and Scheduling to configure solutions for desired clinical workflows.
Support Authorized User with issue resolution of high priority issues.
Assist with design and handoff to AMS (Application Mgmt System which is built by Cerner) for configuration, where appropriate. Those analysts that have worked in clinical settings would be familiar with Cerner
Work with clients on current workflows, upgrades, system changes and enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance.
Deliver workflow and solution design to achieve defined benefits
Experience building HL7 integration solutions
Strong understanding of HIPAA application, server and network security requirements.
Customer service focus with strong people skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills. .
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, Computer Science, IT or other relevant field.
Broad IT experience including servers, networks, firewalls, integrations and security. This Cerner application system is windows based (MS backend).
At least 4 years software implementation work experience
At least 3 year of Cerner Millennium experience
At least 1 year customer service work experience
At least 2 years health care information technology work experience
Previous hospital operational or registration application support experience
