1 Preferred Previous experience with TEA’s Educator Certification Online System (ECOS) preferred
1 Preferred Previous experience with TEA’s Accountability System for Educator Preparation (ASEP) preferred
The Educator Certification Online System (ECOS) supports and facilitates the certification of Texas educators. This position will work with the ECOS development team to provide the following Software Testing Services:
1) Create or update Automation test framework as needed based on analyzing user requirements, design documents and other documentation
2) Design/develop/enhance/execute automated test scripts for functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail
3) Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data
4) Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to help determine test cases and clearly communicate issues found
