UPDATED info from mgr: needs to be a lot of emphasis on experience with Medicaid Program and Project Management. Candidates must have worked at a senior level jobs prior to this. A regular Project Manager will not suffice for this role.

Information Management has an immediate need to procure the services for a Project Manager (PM Level III) to support multiple projects comprising the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) program.
The contractor will provide direct support to the Project Management Office (PMO) Director, and will assume the role of Senior Project Manager. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: program/project management; risk/opportunity management; cost and budget management; scope management; project work plan build and oversight; project team and stakeholder management; communication to stakeholders of varying levels of seniority; vendor management; and provide general program/project oversight.
The PM will assist and advise the PMO Director with regulatory alignment (i.e., CMS and VITA) and provide project tracking and reporting.
This is a SENIOR level position. Ideal candidates will have 15+ years’ experience and demonstrated past performance managing multiple projects of varying type, size, complexity, and level of risk.
PMP certification required. Medicaid experience preferred.
