Project Manager (PMP/PMBOK Certification) with MS Project and VITA experience

Position will initially be remote due to Covid, it will be onsite beginning June 2021 – exact date is unknown.
Candidate is required to go onsite to pick up equipment.Role is remote UNTIL restrictions lift, then it is 100% onsite
Skills:
Demonstrated experience in managing enterprise level IT projects and system implementations Required 5 Years

Use Microsoft Project and other PM tools to develop and organize the plan, coordinate and implement new statewide contract Required 5 Years

Commonwealth PM certification and/or PMBOK certification Highly desired
Working knowledge and experience with the IT staffing/consulting business, Virginia state government and VITA is preferred Highly desired
Temporary resource will function as VITA business project manager to implement new contract for IT contingent labor. Work with the VITA ITCL program manager, coordinate with the awarded supplier on processes, communication, documentation, etc.
-Contract resource must possess comprehensive experience in managing enterprise level IT projects and system implementations.
-Proficiency is needed in using project management practices and tools (MS Project) to coordinate for the implementation of a new contract and program processes for the State’s IT contingent labor program.
-Demonstrated ability to lead all aspects of developing, planning, organizing, and successful management of the implementation project plan, communications, project meetings, reporting and risk management initiatives is required.
-Commonwealth PM certification and/or PMBOK certification, working knowledge and experience with the IT staffing and consulting business and Virginia state government is preferred.
