Majority of the work will be done remotely, however, selected contractor may be asked to pick up equipment IN PERSON.
The Batch Schedule Operations Analyst/Tester will be responsible for ensuring nightly batch schedules are effectively tested and documented for a new system. Regular work hours (M-F) apply; no after hours required.
Involves understanding the scope of the nightly batch processes and ensuring they are able to transition to a production environment. A new system is going live 10/1/2021.
Coordination between Operators who run the batch processes, VEC’s supplier who is building the system, VEC developer resources, VEC business team members, and anyone else who needs to be involved. Ensures the batch processes are documented and the various batch cycles are documented (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, holiday, etc).
Must have great oral and written communication skills, be detail oriented, and have a background in production system operations/scheduling.
