PowerBI Developer with agile, ADABAS/Natural/R, SQL, Grants Management/Funds Accounting, JIRA and SSIS/SSAS experience

The analyst must have demonstrated proficiency in ADABAS/Natural, R Development/Programming, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite5+
Experience with developing complex data models, extract, transformation and load processes for analytic solutions5+
Experience with Grants Management and Fund Accounting Experience3+
Enterprise Architecture experience including IT service and business capability gap analysis necessary to ensure strategic plan has risk mitigation strategies3+
Experience presiding over and implementing large scale, state government IT projects3+

Knowledge of Microsoft technology stack (Azure SQL Server Integration Services, Analysis Services, Tabular Reporting);5+

Preference given to candidates with the below skills/experience. Must also meet minimum requirements.
Three (3) or more years of experience as a business analyst and/or project manager working on State and/or Federal Government projects
Experience with projects requiring an understanding of online web portal architectures and how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other
Experience with Visio or similar process flow software

JOB DESCRIPTIONThis position is to assist the agency with state and federal reporting requirements as well as multiple projects associated with the Economic Assistance, Community Services, Child Support, Early Childhood Care and Development, Workforce Development located within the Mississippi Department of Human Services. This person has an individual contributor quantitative analyst role with responsibility for researching, developing, and maintaining statistical reporting models in Power BI. Contractor will work closely with front and backend developers and needs familiarization with Atlassian Product Stack for multiple teams

REQUIRED DEGREEBachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management
Information Systems or Business from an accredited post-secondary academic institution
