PeopleSoft Payroll Consultant with retro pay (must), PeopleTools Application Designer, Time & Labor and ExcelToCI experience
Location: Minneapolis MN (City of Minneapolis)
Duration: 5 months (up to 40 hours/week)
Criteria for Awarding Scope
PeopleSoft functional analyst with 10 years of continuous hands-on experience in North American Payroll module
Depth of knowledge and experience configuring, testing and supporting NA Payroll 9.2, specifically as it relates to retro pay. Should include proven examples of hands-on trouble-shooting, configuring and testing retro pay
Demonstrated experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.55 or above
Demonstrated expertise working as an independent thinker and problem solver with extensive hands-on experience trouble-shooting, configuring and testing retro pay
Demonstrated expertise working in a wide range of assignments and must be able to work with and update Functional Specification documents that are not always thorough
Excellent skills needed for cross functional communication to assist in the configuration setups
Familiarity with PeopleTools Application Designer and basic PeopleTools knowledge. No development experience expected, but an understanding of the primary records and technical processes that drive Payroll and Time & Labor applications. Experience performing data loads via ExcelToCI
Scope of Services
This Order for Service is being issued to work on a project to make improvements to the current retro pay process at the City. Currently the City Payroll staff calculates retro pay manually and compares it to the system generated reports and makes manual adjustments based on the differences. Consultant would assess the current process and the issues at hand, then make recommendations for improvement. Consultant would then work with the Payroll staff to configure Payroll such that the retro process is done automatically and without error.
