8 Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS 9.1 or above, PeopleTools 8.56 or above, Application Engine, Component Interface, Unix, BI Publisher, Events and Notifications, and Structured Query Report Writer (SQR).
8 PeopleSoft experience with state of Texas’ Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS), a customized version of the web-based application PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll.
8 PeopleSoft experience with with state of Texas’ Workforce, Reporting, Accounting and Purchasing System (WRAPS), a customized version of the web-based application PeopleSoft Financials.
8 Experience using PeopleTools and PeopleCode.
8 Experience planning and implementing PeopleTools upgrades.
8 Experience planning and implementing PeopleSoft PUM upgrades.
8 Experience using Structured Query Report Writer (SQR).
8 Working knowledge of CSS, HTML5, JavaScript.
8 Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft System, Database and Change Administration utilizing the Oracle Database platform.
8 Experience using Unix in support of PeopleSoft Administration duties.
5 Experience with creating, debugging and supporting relevant Unix scripts.
5 Experience with implementing and planning for PeopleSoft tax updates.
5 Experience with setup, configuration and support of Integration Broker, Web Calls.
5 Experience troubleshooting and resolving COBOL issues.
4 Experience with accessibility requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
3 Experience setup, support and configuration of Elastic Search.
8 Knowledge and experience identifying and proactively addressing problems/potential risks and implementing timely solutions.
8 Cross-functional collaboration skills, strong planning and project management skills, and ability to work well with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.

The PeopleSoft Systems Administrator performs cross functional senior-level systems administration work, coordinating with AIX administrators, Oracle database administrators, and security administrators as needed. Work involves coordinating the upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of systems. Installs and upgrades computer components and system software. Works is performed under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Collaborates with IT staff and business customers to accomplish work.
-Performs senior-level systems administration work in the PeopleSoft Financial and/or HRMS Systems.
-Installs and upgrades computer components and system software within a customized version of the web-based application PeopleSoft Financial and/or HRMS Systems.
-Coordinates and maintains the functionality of the systems environment, implementation of technology solutions, implementation, testing and support of web calls and other required integration points, development of server upgrade plans and procedures and installation of operating systems.
-Reviews, analyzes, and modifies systems including encoding, testing, and debugging to support PeopleSoft applications.
-Creates and maintains technical documentation.
-Establishes and champions best practices for administration team
-Coordinates studies and the preparation of reports that include study findings, recommendations and instructions for proposed system implementations.
-Supports activities related to building, configuring, debugging, maintaining, performance tuning and supporting PeopleSoft applications for development, testing, QA, production and disaster recovery.
-Establishes the standards for disaster recovery, data retention, database security, and industry standard monitoring.
-Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves issues, and provides status reports to management.
-May work outside normal office hours/days when needed to resolve production issues or to execute upon system upgrades. May provide on-call activities on a rotational basis.
-Performs other duties as assigned to maintain operations.
