***The candidate will be allowed to work remotely until staff return onsite or as deemed appropriate by the reporting manager. At that point the candidate may be required to come onsite at 3514 Bush St, Raleigh NC.
The State of North Carolina is replacing its existing financial system with an Oracle Cloud Financials solution. This is the first Oracle Cloud Financials implementation in state government. The project is well underway and is in the midst of its build and development cycle. Go-live is schedule for the first half of 2023.
The project has a substantial procure-to-pay effort. We are seeking a candidate with extensive Oracle procure-to-pay (PTP) background, preferably Oracle Cloud experience.
Specific skills required include the following:
•Deep understanding of Oracle accounts payable functionality, including invoice to payment, employee expense processing and reimbursement, and corporate purchasing cards
•Experience with interface design in support of data transmission from State agencies
•Knowledge of supplier master data elements and of building mapping tables for data conversion activities
•Familiarity with systems testing processes to include unit test, system integration test, and user acceptance test. Ability to create test scripts is essential.
•Ability to review and interpret functional specifications for reports, interfaces, and conversion documentation
•Understanding of Oracle reporting tools such as OTBI, SmartView, and BI Publisher
•Ability to be a team player and to participate fully with State PTP team members and our user community
