Onsite Desktop Support Engineer with Windows, O365, SharePoint, Active Directory/user admin, DNS/DHCP/Subnets/IP Connectivity, VPN, Cisco AnyConnect, HP/Konica printers and iOS experience

Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 operating system (client) Required 3 Years
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft M365 suite of applications (Office, SharePoint) Required 3 Years
Working knowledge of MS Active Directory User/Computer administration Required 3 Years
Working knowledge of network technologies inclusive of DNS, DHCP, Subnets, IP Connectivity Required 3 Years
Working knowledge of remote access VPN technologies (Cisco AnyConnect preferred) Required 3 Years
Ability to add/create/modify user and system accounts within the DOI directory Required 3 Years
Working knowledge of HP and Konica enterprise printers Required 3 Years
Working knowledge of mobile device iOS, iPad Required 3 Years
All work must be completed on-site in Gastonia NC and the candidate must travel 1 day a week to Archdale, NC. Candidate must have transportation to/from Archdale. Travel expenses are eligible for travel reimbursement based upon state policy.
Expected Skills: Able to work without assistance; can provide limited leadership to others; able to manage medium complexity work efforts; may have industry experience.
Description (including, but not limited to):
1. Technical assistance, support, and advice to end users for hardware, software, and systems
2. Hands-on technical and functional assistance to business and technical users
3. Remote technical and functional assistance to business and technical users
4. Troubleshooting desktop, laptop or mobile devices
5. Performs upgrades and reimaging
6. Set up new workstations and relocate existing ones
7. Install/remove applications
8. Install/remove peripherals
9. Support network printers
10 Candidate must travel 1 day/week to our Archdale Regional Office for support. Travel expenses are eligible for travel reimbursement based upon state policy. Candidate must have transportation to/from Archdale.
