The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks a contractor resource for the NC FAST (Families Accessing Services through Technology). This position will serve as a Cloud Solution Architect responsible for working with the current Architects to provide possible solutions for implementing new Technologies and tools in Cloud. This position requires prior experience as a Technical Lead or Architect role in designing and implementing modern technologies including cloud infrastructure on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
This position will be responsible for development practices, performing system analysis, overseeing the cloud implementation, assisting with the segregation of the Child Welfare program, evaluating cloud models and various technology software as NC FAST moves forward with a technology modernization effort. This position also requires management of various tasks and activities on the architecture team. This position requires substantial communication in verbal and written forms, establishing guidelines and guardrails for system enhancements, and providing analysis of software, technology, and a variety of proposed solutions to various problems.
