The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking an experienced GIS Application Developer with an extensive background in ESRI technology, .NET Core, JavaScript, PYTHON, and JSON/GeoJSON as it relates to GIS application development.
Additional Description:
The candidate must also be well-versed in UI/UX design, including HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, dojo, AJAX, and jQuery. Extensive experience utilizing Visual Studio 2013 or newer is required. Experience managing work items and source code in VSTS/Azure DevOps is also strongly preferred. The ideal candidate would also have familiarity with Oracle and SQL databases, REST Endpoints, and secure services.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
• New development and enhancements.
• Develop using: ESRI technology, JavaScript, PYTHON, Leaflet, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, GeoJSON, XML, CSS and Visual Studio 2013 or newer.
• Executes all required process steps.
• Tests enhancement and development programs.
• Participates in structured code reviews / walkthroughs.
• Utilizes configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement an application.
• Work in an agile environment.
