The NC Department of Transportation Web Services group is seeking an Expert Level Senior DevOps Engineer who will work collaboratively with NCDMV & NCDOT software developers to facilitate deployment, operation, and monitoring of current and future NCDMV e-commerce systems. This resource will accelerate process automation and modernize development and deployment operations/processes including troubleshooting application & server issues in our 24×7, multi-tiered, and multiplatform environments. It is expected that this resource will assist us to rally and guide our team to meet its Cloud migration goals. This resource will help shepherd legacy web software from on-premise to Azure cloud infrastructure as determined by NCDMV & NCDOT business requirements. This resource will focus on increasing development and operations staff collaboration, throughout the entire application development lifecycle in order to reduce deployment durations and expedite any issues affecting system uptime percentages. This resource is expected to have experience with automation tools, be able to code in a .NET environment, and script deployments.
