Micro Focus COBOL Developer/Architect with IMS DB, Linux and Windows experience
Location: NY/NJ
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
• 5-7 years experience in architecture, setup, configure, developing and deploying in the Micro Focus Cobol environment, IMS DB and Linux
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or relevant work experience.
• Experience in software or application architecture and/or consulting
• Experience in either full application stack monitoring or full application stack development preferred. Minimum requirement is strong, demonstrable understanding of full application stack architectures
• Enjoys working in fast-paced, varied environments with highly diverse application architectures
• Ability to use collaboration to solve problems and think on your feet
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux
• IT Consulting experience
• Ability to interface with customers and lead complex deployments while following a methodology
