Statement of Work for DPH ID and Fiscal (COVID) Grants Management Reporting
Job Title: Application Systems Analysis/Programmer.

Initial Projects:
1. Fiscal Data Modeling – generate PowerBI data models based on extracts from the State of Connecticut’s fiscal management system. Initial work will be to utilize manual extracts of data and develop the process within PowerBI to generate a Star Data Model that can be used as an operational prototype.

2. PowerBI Report Generation – develop and publish fiscal reports in PowerBI that can be used by DPH Business Office staff, Principal Investigators of grants and cooperative agreements, and DPH Leadership.

3. Document Modeling Processes – Develop the documentation that provides detailed information on the steps taken to generate the Fiscal Data Model (star data model developed in #1).

4. Develop Production ETL for Fiscal Data Model – coordinate with DPH IT to create a robust automated ETL (Extract Transform and Load) process that consumes fiscal data from the fiscal management system and publishes that data to a SQL Server based Fiscal Data Model.

5. Other DPH IT and/or ID Informatics data modeling support as needed

6. Preferred skills: Data Modeling in PowerBi, SQL Server Query Development and Experience with fiscal data.
