Advanced Contractor Positions for UCC Collaboration Team
The Unified Communications and Collaboration team is looking to fill two advanced contractor positions on the collaboration team. Candidates for these positions should have the following experience:
· Three years of professional experience designing, installing, programming, troubleshooting, and supporting operational systems including integrated audiovisual presentation systems, video conferencing systems.
· Experience programming Crestron control systems is preferred.
· Experience working with Crestron Digital Media and Crestron control systems; Biamp audio DSPs; and Cisco videoconferencing systems is preferred.
· This position will require the successful candidate to design and commission audiovisual systems; to support existing installed audiovisual and videoconferencing systems both on-site and remotely; to project manage new installations; to train and support customers using their AV systems; to communicate with customers in person and electronically; to follow written processes and to document new equipment and procedures.
· This position will include some travel inside the State of Tennessee.
· This position will require the successful candidate to be physically able to work on the floor under a conference table and to lift up to 60lbs.
Distinguishing Features:
This is the advanced-level of the Unified Communications and Collaboration series. An employee in this position assists the technical lead with training to departments and staff on procedures and deployment strategies.
This position:
· Collaborates with project managers to organize and schedule teams of contractors and support staff to successfully deploy audiovisual and videoconferencing systems and services.
· Assist with and perform implementation of audio and video collaboration systems including but not limited to:
o integrated audiovisual presentation systems,
o video conferencing systems,
o remote control systems,
o video streaming capture and administration,
o web conferencing and administration,
o other collaboration systems.
This position may assist with communications modeling, analysis, planning, and research to recommend Unified Communications hardware and software.
