Java Technical Analyst with SOA, web services, SOAP, REST, ESB, open source, WSDL, BPEL, Spring, JSON, WS-Security, SAML, Kerberos, LDAP, ADFS, jQuery and MS Project experience

A strong Technical analyst with in-depth knowledge of IT systems and functional, technical requirements gathering practices.
• 4+ plus years of experience in requirements gathering, identifying and tracking complex systems workflows
• Serve as technical analyst and subject matter expert on complex project engagements
• Identify and advise business process improvements for clients, including technology recommendations that are aligned with overall organizational strategy. Understanding of as-is/to-be analysis, conducting gap analysis, and alternatives analysis activities.
• Support software development lifecycle activities from project initiation through project implementation by leading activities such as planning and facilitating requirements sessions, developing test plans, writing testing scenarios, performing data setup, planning training.
• Create high quality project artifacts and formal deliverables relative to project initiatives, and as required by contract.
• Contribute to project work plans, and other formal project management deliverables relative to project initiatives.
• Create implementation plans that consider all aspects of project implementation across the breadth of the organization, using change management philosophies and tools.
• Risk identification and risk management related to planning/recommendations, as well as to active project management.
• Prepare other written reports and materials for clients.
• Knowledge of technologies such as Java/J2EE, SOA Webservices (SOAP and REST), ESBs, Open Source products, and strong working knowledge of SOA, SOAP, WSDL, Service Orchestration, Business Process Choreography, BPEL, Spring MVC and JSON
• Knowledge of Web Technologies such as Html 5, CSS 3, jQuery, Spring MVVC and WebServices (SOAP/REST)
• Strong command on Java/J2EE concepts and current industry trends
• Experience in implementing Webservices Security using WS-Security, SAML, Kerberos and integrating with Identity provides, LDAP and ADFS.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
