Performs in a technical application developer role supporting the development and implementation of specific feature enhancements for the Early Childhood Integrated Data System (ECIDS) application. Working closely with other members of the ECIDS development and support team, this role will be focused on the design, development, test, and implementation of all the code modifications that will be required for the SOAP services/middleware layer of the ECIDS application to fully implement the “Cohort Enhancement” feature to this existing production application. The work associated with this short term contractor position will need to be performed on site in Raleigh, NC.

•Expert level skills and experience (5+ years) designing and developing Java centric, SOAP based, web services within an SOA architecture.
•Experienced with all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
