Java Developer with PL/SQL, RESTful web services, Spring Aspect Oriented Programming/transaction management/security, SPA, Angular, React and agile experience

Duration: 24 months
**If the candidate is out of state and is selected, they must relocate to the state of Texas before the start date. They must also be physically in Austin to pick up their laptop equipment.**
Minimum Requirements:

8 Required Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java programming language
8 Required Experience in applications development on J2EE platform
8 Required Experience in writing SQL for relational databases
8 Required Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java programming language
4 Required Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform
4 Required Experience working on Spring Aspect Oriented Programming like transaction management and security
4 Required Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform.
3 Required Experience within software development using agile methodology.
3 Required Experience in writing PLSQL programs
3 Required Experience in development of Single Page Applications (SPA) using frameworks and libraries like Angular or React.
These two contractor roles are for Senior Java Developers, and they will work on the IT Threat Reduction EI. These roles will be responsible for porting HEART and the CFO-FSS Java applications onto the Business Enablement Platform, which is a cloud-enabled HHS platform. As part of the port of the application, the application will undergo remediation to align the application with more up-to-date security and support-ability standards within the limits of the funding that was allotted. Development of new applications. Coding for applications with RESTful web services in the middleware that connects to SQL and or NoSQL databases. Knowledge and experience working on Single Page Applications development, RESTful services, Oracle and NoSQL databases like MongoDB in agile environment is required. Supports the applications enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode. Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.
