SCC seeks a Senior Project Manager for implementation of the Clerk’s Information System (CIS) Phase II project. This project will ensure that the Clerk’s Office is processing business entity filings in accordance with the Code of Virginia. Legislative changes to the Limited Liability Company Act and Stock Corporation Act require functionality in the CIS system that were not included in the recent CIS implementation. Both sets of legislative changes are effective July 1, 2021 and therefore must be implemented by that date. The project will work closely with our CIS vendor to ensure the proper enhancements are made, on-time.
Job responsibilities include coordination of the project through completion, ensuring that requirements are managed and met, maintenance of project objectives and timeline, tracking progress and setting parameters around deadlines, and logistical support of the teams. The PM will keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact completion and be responsible for developing resolutions.
