5 Required Experience designing, developing and implementing training curricula. Develop training programs, including web-based and instructor led courses, job-aids, videos, etc.
5 Required Experience conducting classes regarding standard operating procedures of various software solutions, IT security, IT system installation, software programming, system maintenance, and repair of software, operational support best practices, and equipment
2 Required Experience with web based learning management systems and e-Learning authoring tools.
3 Preferred Experience in delivering technical training in cloud-based technology is preferred

Under the general direction of the Analytics Manager in the Program Informatics and Evaluation Branch, works independently and collaboratively to plan, develop, design, coordinate, implement, conduct and evaluate training for a new HIV portal and reporting system. Designs and develops curricula based on needs assessments and adult learning theory. Develops, revises and provides training and educational materials and support to DSHS-funded HIV contractors with a focus on HIV database application software and processes. Responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs. Shall deliver on-site and web-based training courses. Conducts needs assessments and creates curricula, functional test plans, reports, memoranda, correspondence, teaching aids, website content, and other written documents. Coordinates with DSHS software application administrators, external developer and program consultants to ensure regional needs are covered in training. Serves as the training liaison for software application administrators and Administrative Agencies to coordinate training needs assessments and assist contractors in obtaining desired training and technical assistance (TA) through referral and/or customized curriculum or TA development. Establishes monitoring and evaluation standards for training activities. Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
