Developer Analyst 2 (Data Developer) role to assist in planning and coordinating continued modernization development activities for the DFPS complex casework management system (IMPACT). The Worker will perform extract, transform and load (ETL); data warehouse development; data administration; and coordinate the planning and analysis of user data requirements, procedures, and problems to automate data processing or improve existing data systems projects focused on continuing modernization activities of existing DFPS Enterprise applications including IMPACT, PEIRS, SSCC, Child Placement Portal, Incentives and Remedies, Community Based Care, and other operational projects as needed. The Worker will also work in concert with various technical leads (e.g., PMO, CTO, and Systems Development Resources) to prioritize assigned work and develop recommendations, options, or alternatives as required.
As a Data Developer, the position requires strong knowledge of Data Modeling, ETL, Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL, Informatica, and PowerCenter. The position requires an ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to manage projects against established timelines. This position also requires the ability to learn and apply new technology, work independently or in a team environment, and collaborate with all levels of staff within DFPS to satisfy business needs.
The Worker will be responsible for the ETL Development following established standards, quality attributes, and design specifications. The Data Developer role is responsible for the following:
•Defining and developing data strategies for flexibility and scalability
•Documenting design and standards
•Version control
OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
DFPS prefers candidates selected for interviews to attend a face to face interview at the DFPS work location listed in this solicitation. Vendors are asked to fully vet their candidates for availability of a face-to-face interview. In select case by case circumstances, DFPS will consent to a SKYPE interview if candidate is out of state and cannot attend in person.
