Hybrid Medicaid Testing Manager with Enterprise and Agile experience
Location: Jackson, MS

Required Skills/Experience
7 years overall testing experience with enterprise IT projects and systems, including planning, coordinating, and
participating in testing activities
3 years defining and developing testing methods, testing tools, and test cases for enterprise IT projects and systems
3 years creating, reviewing, and tracking testing reports
3 years experience both in Agile and Lean principles of software development
3 years experience facilitating meetings and discussions and providing leadership with the testing team, as well as both
technical and non-technical staff.
3 years of meeting critical timelines and deadlines for IT projects
Preferred/Not Required
3 years experience with testing in Healthcare IT projects
3 years experience leading testing for enterprise IT projects
3 years experience managing a testing team
3 years experience with Healthcare IT payers (Medicaid, others).
Preference will be given to candidates who can work 40 hours a week at the DOM office, located
in Jackson MS, for the duration of the contract. Alternatively, candidates who travel will be
considered, however, they will be required to be in the office, in Jackson, MS, every other week,
for the duration of the contract.
Description of the job functions the contractor will be expected to perform.
The Medicaid Testing Manager will work with multiple Division of Medicaid (DOM) technical teams on the testing of
complex IT projects, including projects that involve the implementing, upgrading, and operating of complex IT systems.
The DOM Testing Manager will:
-Plan, coordinate, and participate in testing activities;
-Develop testing methods, testing tools, and test cases for enterprise IT projects and systems;
-Create, review, and track testing reports;
-Facilitate meetings of the testing team as well as with both technical and non-technical staff
-Coordinate testing activities and schedules with multiple vendors and staff;
-Document and report status, opportunities, findings, and risks to DOM management as well as State and federal
partners (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, CMS), etc.
-Facilitate meetings and discussions while providing leadership with the testing team as well as staff.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
